There's no letup in sight. Because the threat to computer security remains so strong, and security is essential for complying with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley, ensuring security and privacy will remain a top business priority.

Companies will have little choice but to continue to invest in new technologies that promise to keep networks and information safe, and keep businesses running in case of a disaster or computer downtime.

Just like many things in life, there is no one answer or "one size fits all" for security. Many major brand name security companies out there tackle many different types of security and end up only providing mediocre protection to all areas. And because so many companies lack security education, they believe that spending millions of dollars on such security software will solve all of their problems.
